The level of professionalism of
our staff is what makes us different. Our team procedure is our
way of providing the "excellence in outpatient surgery"
that every patient deserves. From the moment you begin your surgical
procedure, you will be attended to by a caring professional. One of
our Registered Nurses (RN) will be assigned to you and will be
with you continuously throughout your stay with us.
The Surgery Center only hires Registered
Nurses because we are totally committed to your welfare. Our RNs
are ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), IV and Conscious Sedation
Certified. Surgical Technologists assist your Surgeon during your
procedure. Our policy is to have an RN in the room with you at
all times (there are more than 90 RNs on our staff).
The Surgery Center also has three
dedicated Anesthesiologists attending to the needs of our patients.
Because they are on our staff, they are familiar with the people,
surroundings, equipment and procedures. We feel that this is the
way we can best take care of you, although you may select an Anesthesiologist
of your choice for your surgery.
The nurses, doctors and other staff
members at The Surgery Center are dedicated to your well-being.
Our staff will consult with your Personal Physician so that your
medical history is accurate and up-to-date.
