Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.

Assists in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Functions as a member of the sterile team in donning gown and gloves, creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons.

Sets up tables, instruments, and supplies required for specific operations.

Assists in the preparation and draping of patient and operative area.

Prepares and passes instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies needed in the operative procedure and maintain a correct count.

Assists in the maintenance and care of specimens.

Cleans equipment and instruments and prepares same for re-sterilization after procedures.

Cleans carts and rooms, and changes linen.

Cleans and stocks storage room as required.

Assists with table equipment, positioning patients, application of plaster casts and dressings.

Prepares and maintains the sterile field for the surgical procedure.

Moving of equipment to OR suites

Retrieving supplies as requested

In between cases, any housekeeping duties, trash removal, mopping floors, suction waste removal

Assisting positioning of patients under direct supervision of the RN or Physicia

Transporting of patients

Linen hamper exchange

Scrub suit stocking

Stocking of personal protective equipment and scrub brushes

Stocking of anesthesia carts and supplies

Stocking of defined medications

Registered Nurse FT - Extended Care 3rd shift

Registered Nurse PRN
